Founded in 2019, Lucifer's Wolves National Airsoft Team was created to assist veterans, first responders and active duty military with a focus on creating a support network for those who are in need, specifically those with PTSD. We were founded in the wake of a tragic accident that left three US Army soldiers dead including PFC Jamie Riley, the founder's childhood best friend. On January 22nd, 2019 during a routine training exercise three Stryker vehicles collided into each other killing Jamie on impact. Jamie had only been in the Army a year after dropping out of college to pursue a career in the army. Jamie was just one of those people whose smile could light up a room. A mentor to anyone who needed it and an adventurer at heart. After just a little over a year of his death the idea came to the team to find a way to honor Jamie. Starting in 2021 the team started the memorial project which just started as a patch around the world project. The original patch was created and sent to friends and family in the United States and overseas. Pictures and support came flooding in, ending with over one hundred photos being sent to us. His mom, who did not know the team was doing this, was surprised on his birthday with a photo album of these pictures. The team ended up making a donation originally to Team Rubicon in Jamie's honor. Sitting down just a few months later we realized what we could do with his story, start a scholarship for Gold Star families, veterans and active duty military. So in November 2021 we officially announced our first charity game that would be held on the three year anniversary of his death. The event was a great success with the support of the airsoft community, the veteran community and our airsoft family here at Lucifer's Wolves. The scholarship is offered twice a year at a starting amount of $500 (hoping as the fund grows so will the amount!) just before the spring and fall semesters. The scholarship is for any college, vocational or trade school. All we ask is for a small essay to be sent to us with why you should get the scholarship, proof of status and what school you're attending! The team continues to grow and we will continue to grow this scholarship program!
If you haven’t already bought tickets for our upcoming event, we hope you do so. To learn more about how to get involved, give us a call or send an email our way.
